Bethany Gray has a teaching degree from Athens State University, but has spent the last 16 years as a stay-at-home, homeschool mom to her seven kiddos. Her husband, Kevin, is a math teacher at MCHS.

They are actively involved in their church and have spent a good deal of time on the ground in Honduras, helping with the educational ministry, Reach Out Honduras, where Bethany serves on the board of directors.

They lost their oldest son, Eli, at the age of 12 in June of 2019. In looking for resources for their surviving children, they came across the BEST groups facilitated by Journey of Hope, in Cookeville, TN.

Bethany and Kevin attended training to become facilitators for the middle school curriculum and Bethany attended additional training for the Elementary curriculum. She desires to help kids with the tools to express the emotions that they experience through difficult times.

They currently live on Keel Mountain in Gurley where Bethany grew up.
