Volunteer Opportunities
Graces of Gurley is a small non-profit and we rely heavily on volunteers and donations from our neighbors and surrounding communities. If you’d like to be a part of the Lord’s work in Gurley, we invite you to join us!
Volunteer to be a PAL to a MCES elementary or middle school student
We started our Jacob’s Ladder Jr. ministry in the fall of 2020. Our kids love coming to Bible study, playing games, and fellowshipping together. We need loving adults to come alongside them and be their cheerleaders. This role is similar to a mentor but does not require as much of a commitment - you have the flexibility of coming to meetings when you can, having lunch with them at school, sending them cards in the mail, or sending a text just saying “have a great day”. All volunteers working with youth are required to give references and pass a background check.
Donate food & supplies for our Jacob’s Ladder Mentor Groups
Graces of Gurley is a small non-profit and we rely on volunteers and donations from our neighbors and surrounding communities to keep our programs running. If you’d like to be a part of the Lord’s work in Gurley, we invite you to join us! Currently we are in need of snacks for our Jacob’s Ladder youth mentor programs. We host over 40 kids each week. The snacks you provide help them to feel at home when they come to The Refuge and keep them focused while we’re together.
