MEETING PHYSICAL NEEDS…
Emergency Food Supply
We provide an emergency food pantry with staple items for our neighbors in Gurley and supply snacks for the school nurse to keep on hand for students needing a little extra TLC during the day. We also make available food bags to give to students as-needed. Learn More.
Christmas Gift Assistance
Graces of Gurley offers a low-cost solution to qualifying low-income families to purchase Christmas gifts for their children in 8th grade and younger. Applications are available on-line in September of each year.
Backpacks/Supplies
Organized by Graces of Gurley, local churches and community organizations bond together to provide backpacks and school supplies for Madison County Elementary students. More information will be available in May for the upcoming school year.

Jacob’s Ladder
Minis
Jacob’s Ladder Minis consists of multiple small groups of elementary students who focus on learning age-appropriate behaviors, Bible lessons, and scripture memorization, reinforced through games, and activities. They are nurtured to advance to our Junior mentor group once they enter middle school. Learn More.

Juniors
Jacob’s Ladder Jr. is a mentoring ministry dedicated to nurturing middle school students with love, encouragement, and the Word of God as they transition into their teen years. Tutoring and counseling are available to all participants, as needed. Learn More.

Leadership
Jacob’s Ladder Leadership consists of students from our Junior group who choose to continue growing with us. Leadership students work with mentors to set goals to grow their character, learn life skills, prepare for adulthood, and participate in service projects. Learn More.

Moms in Prayer
Moms in Prayer is an international prayer organization whose mission is to foster groups praying over every student/teacher/school across the globe. A group meets at the Graces building on Thursdays at 1 PM to pray for MCES, MCHS, Central, and Woodville. Come & join us!

Best Group
A certified specialist guides the “BEST GROUPS” to help children navigate emotions related to the loss of a significant person through death, divorce, foster care, deployment, incarceration, living with family caregivers, and parental substance misuse. This group meets after school, twice a year, at Graces of Gurley. Learn More.

Are you struggling with relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, or just life in general? Graces of Gurley provides professional mental health, financial, and biblical counseling in Gurley for qualifying men, women, and children at NO cost. Learn More.
GriefShare
The GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, led by facilitators who have experienced the grief of children, spouses, and other loved ones, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief.

In partnership with Willowbrook Church, Graces of Gurley provides leaders and volunteers for the reading program Arise2Read. Would you like to help an MCES student 1 hour a week to develop the most essential skill that will support them through the rest of their life? Learn More
Parent Support
We've ALL experienced many of the same questions - Is my toddler on target for their age?, How do I get my kids to do what I say? Why won't my kids go to sleep? and so much more. We offer workshops, led by experts in their fields, to help answer these questions and give us tips to make parenting a little easier.

Kathryn’s Kids
Kathryn’s Kids is a back-to-school, FREE family fun day full of games, food, and prizes. Local non-profits and organizations come together to show love to our town and share information about their resources.
